“I use a BiPAP machine to alleviate my sleep apnea,” said one of two inventors from Richmond, Ky. “Though the machine helps with my breathing throughout the night, BiPAPs and CPAPs don’t protect against inhalation of harmful elements in the air.” In order to solve this problem, the inventors conceived of their design.
The I.D.D. keeps a CPAP/BiPAP machine user from inhaling harmful impurities, smoke or fumes while sleeping. If smoke, fumes and impurities are detected, an alarm system wakes the user and deactivates the machine.
As a result, it helps avoid lung damage or fatality and promotes peace of mind. Easy to install and compatible with any CPAP or BiPAP machine, it’s suitable for households, hospitals, medical clinics, etc.
